Origin Of KVS EMS

KVS English Medium School was founded in response to the increasing interest among the people to enroll their Children in English Medium Education. This initiative was motivated by the Town’s quest for High-Quality Education under the Visionary Leadership of the Office Bearers Mr.O.T.S.V.Tharumar Nadar President, Mr.S.P.K.Selvarajan Vice-President, Mr. M.A.M.P.Muthaiah Nadar Secretary & Mr.V.M.G.Rajasekaran B.Com Treasurer. Thus the Dream of Starting an English Medium School came true on October 4, 1970.

KVS English Medium School started its Educational Journey in a simple shed in Virudhunagar town. The School was affiliated with CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) in the beginning. This modest beginning laid the foundation for a great Educational Institution.

In 1976, the School reached an important Milestone with the opening of its Main Building at Sulakkarai. Over the years, the School Grew and added more Facilities, making the learning Experience better for the Students. In 1987, the School transitioned to the Tamil Nadu Matriculation Board. This was a Big Step towards providing Quality Education in a Better Environment. This journey of Growth and Excellence continues with the formation of the KVS Matriculation Managing Trust in 1997, dedicated exclusively to managing the School at Sulakkarai.

This Trust was established to shape the lives of Students, preparing them for a Bright & Successful Future. When NEET & JEE gained popularity, the demand for a CBSE School emerged in 2012. Responding to this need, the Management took the initiative to start School following the CBSE Curriculum, initially offering Classes from 1 to 6. In 2018, the School gained CBSE approval up to Class 12.
