The 137th birth anniversary of Srinivasa Ramanujan was celebrated on December 20th at KVS EMS. Competitions like math quizzes, puzzles, Pythagoras theorem proofs, and geometric string art were held earlier and the winners were awarded during the event.
Students of Classes 3 to 5 performed an action song on mathematical operations. The highlight was a tangram-based dance where shapes like an aeroplane, rocket, Christmas tree, swan, human figure, house, and horse were formed, blending art with mathematical precision. The tribute to Ramanujan’s brilliance left the audience spellbound.
