“Aim High, Think Innovatively, Work Independently”. 

                  These words are behind the success story of KVS English Medium School from the year 1970 to at present. The KVS Managing Board desired for something more than just a comfortable life for the children of Virudhunagar. The visionary gleam of the board lead to the opening of KVS English Medium in 1970 at Sulakkarai. And in 1987, it was transfigured to KVS Matric Higher Secondary School to sow      the pearly wisdom in the students.

          In 1997, the KVS Matric Higher Secondary School Managing Trust was instituted to develop the quality and excellence in education with 46 well wishers in it. The board fulfilled the most common purpose of education to gain knowledge and skills to lead productive and fulfilling lives.

          When there was a stipulation for the CBSE curriculum in the society, the members of the trust with the foresight to cultivate leadership and inculcate human dignity in every student inaugurated KVS English Medium School on 14th June 2012. It was started from classes 1 to 6 with 712 students and 32 staff members. To shape the nation builders, the school gives a true education for the development of physical and mental abilities.

          In 2020, our school celebrated its Golden Jubilee and geared up to be an entity to empower the empower the student community to reach the larger world beyond. It is spread over three blocks – Main block, Junior block and Senior block with a mega auditorium in 2023.

          Now the strength increases to 1807 students with 112 staff members. We welcome the students who are curious about the world they live in and wish to explore a variety of experience in order to develop their innate skills .
