Authors’ Day: Seven Groups, Seven Genres, Seven Tales!!
Authors’ Day was held at KVS EMS on 13 October 2026 to encourage creativity, teamwork & writing skills among students of Classes VI, VII & VIII.
The students were divided into groups & each group was assigned a specific literary genre. The seven genres were Mystery, Myth, Horror, Science Fiction, Adventure, Comedy & Fantasy .
Students collaborated with their group members to create & write short stories based on their assigned genres.
Each group incorporated the key elements & distinctive features of its respective genre into the story.
The activity provided students with an opportunity to explore different styles of storytelling, exchange ideas, and develop their creative writing skills through collaboration.
