Road Safety Awareness Programme

KVS EMS conducted a Road Safety Awareness Programme on 31st July 2026 to create road safety awareness among students from a young age, helping them develop discipline, responsibility & safe road practice for life.

The programme began with an energetic Traffic Signal Parade by the students of Classes III, IV & V who demonstrated traffic signals & creatively conveyed important road safety messages, inspiring everyone to become responsible road users.

The Chief Guest, Mr P. Lingaiah – Sub-Inspector of Police Traffic Police Station Virudhunagar; Mr R. Manickam – DME Regional Transport Office Virudhunagar; Mr B. Alagusundaram – District Road Safety Committee member & Mr K.Thangapandi – Special Sub-Inspector of Police Anti-Human Trafficking Unit Virudhunagar, explained traffic rules through real-life examples , highlighting the importance of wearing helmets & seat belts , following safe pedestrian practices & being responsible road users and sharing these important safety messages with their families.

The students also took the Road Safety Oath, pledging to follow traffic rules and promote safe road practices. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks.
